How it Works
What this is all about
Ask Boxer is a place to ask questions about anything and everything Pacific/college/life-related. Want to know what a certain class is like? Where's the coldest water fountain on campus? How realistic is it to double major? Need some advice on how to deal with roommate drama, how to get a stain out of your favorite shirt, what you could do with a history major, advice on transferring, or how to deal with paying for four years' worth of school? This is your all-in-one platform for asking all of those questions and keeping up with campus events.
See that nifty little thing in the lower righthand corner of the screen? If it says "Leave us a message", send us a question! If it says "Chat with us!", that means somebody is online and they can answer your questions right away! We will be online for about an hour most days (check our bio for our office hours!), so we will be real quick-like in our responses! (For more details on how questions and answers work, jump down to the last paragraph!)
The other neat aspect of Ask Boxer is that this works as a way to get into contact with upperclassmen from a variety of different majors. Curious as to what majoring in Biology is like? Thinking about becoming a doctor, or a teacher, or starting your own business? Two or three years ago, these students were in your shoes; they didn't know what they wanted to do, who they were, or really, how to do much of anything. Have questions about Economics? What is it, what it's like to study it, and what to do with it? We can connect you with an upperclassman Econ major who can answer any and all questions you might have (to be clear, not limited just to Econ majors)!
We will also be posting Vlogs semi-regularly, so check back in to see what we will cover in each new video!
How it works
If you have a question that has not already been answered (or has been answered but you're too lazy to search through our archives or tags), shoot us a message in that handy little BoxerChat box in the lower righthand corner of your screen. Unless you would prefer for the question to be kept private, all questions asked in chat or messenger will be posted and answered in the form of a post on the blog as well as in response to your individual message. If you would prefer for the question and answer to stay in private correspondence with one of the students, indicate that in the email and we will keep it private (we pinky swear). Each question will be tagged so if you have a general question, check the tags (click the button that looks like "=" but with three lines and the tags should be there, along with the archives!) to see if your question has already been asked and answered, that way you can hopefully get an immediate response!

Who we are
We are a collection of upperclassmen students here at Pacific, representing various majors and interests, all here to answer any and all questions you may have about Pacific, college, and life as a whole! We may not have all the answers, but we're here to do our best to figure them out for you!
